The chairman of the foreign affairs committee of the Ukrainian parliament, Oleksandr Merezhko, lauded Taiwan for its “quick” response to Russia’s incursion.
“Taiwan’s parliament adopted a resolution in support of Ukraine very quickly, and they also imposed strict sanctions on Russia, which was really helpful to us; China, on the other hand, has proven that it is a friend of our enemy, ” Merezhko said.
